This is a little late, but I’ll post it anyway..

Got called up by the teenage team for a photoshoot for their April issue. If I’m not mistaken, i think its for the Astro thingums I dont really remember, but of course, had a great time, though it took the whole day. The clothes were pretty mint, we had to showcase some outfits from River Island, Pull and Bear, Puma and Topman’s new line or something. Alicia’s (Teenage Icon 2008) sort of my partner for the shoot, since it’s a couple theme. Loved the last two outfits though – I thought the yellow/purple combo was pretty risque, but it actually looked really cool with the brit trousers.

If you notice, my hair looked a little odd, because the hairstylists attempted to give me some sort of a flimsy mohawk (where they pretty much used almost the whole jar of hairgel to pull the sides of my hair to the back and left the centre untouched) and it turned out neat as well. I may consider adapting the hair idea permanently, haha.. no way.

Went out with Jel, Ikhlas and Lester the next day for an another awesome time at Island Creamery. Before that, we lunched our day at Newton Circus, and boy, do they have wicked food or what! Island Creamery was alright, but I’m getting bored of the flavours already. I gotta bring them to Cold Rock at Holland V someday to try their ice-cream. I’m sure it’ll be their new addiction!

Wow, I have to say Live ‘N’ Loaded was one of the best experiences ever

It was a hell of a tiresome day last Tuesday during the recording day, coz we had to be at Mediacorp studio by 9am in the morning for soundcheck and rehearsal, and the journey from home to Caldecott is pretty distant and tedious, including the mrt and bus transfers, but of course, I had a great time at Mediacorp the whole day. The facade of the buildings was pretty old and ulu i must say, but the state of the art equipments, sets and interior made up for that bit. The wardrobe unit was cool – I saw Sergeant Dollah (Police and Thief’s “Police”) outfits and shoes at one corner, and we stumbled upon Adawiyah Hussein(?) (Suria News Anchor) there and Patricia Mok and Kym Ng at the Make Up and Hair unit. Kudos to the wardrobe stylists for the fab selection of clothes for the band – sponsored by Pull and Bear, Topman, Zara, Fourskin – I should really get one of those Zara jackets, for my own personal use, it was so hard to let go! =( haha.

I thought Joanne and Christine (assistant producer) did a great job in handling the band well. They were pretty efficient in the tech rider and the band’s needs and stuff like that. Sebas and Mardy were awesome as well. Live N Loaded wouldn’t be where it is now without them, to be honest. We were pretty scared of Josephine (exec producer), because she looked pretty stern, but she’s actually a really nice lady. ;)

We did sort of like a legal self-exploration around the area (the radio building, staff canteen). Fifi and Sha just had to interrupt a 93.8fm news deejay when she was broadcasting live, and she chuckled helplessly when she was on air! Haha. Oh, we stumbled upon Cheryl Fox at the canteen buying a bottle of mineral water, and she was smokinnnnnnnnnnnnnnn hot. o.o

So the show started at 8:30pm. Thanks Dayah, Fahi, Chewy, Fiona, Azee, Jannah, Eri, Rifdy, Hisham, Sheila, Ikhlas, Maxwell, Tasha for coming! Met them at the reception at 7pm to mingle around for half an hour. Dayah, you looked different. Haha, maybe it has been really long since the last time we met, and you looked healthier, no worries. Chewy and Fiona too, apologies for the misinformed directions! Glad to see you guys man. Hisham and Rifdy, you guys arrived on time man. Heh.

The show went absolutely well, way way better than I expected. All the bands for that episode were fantastic. Special mention to Juxtapose – addictive music, cool mascots, unique combination of everything nice. I thought the psychedelic rock band, Aurigami was great as well. Syltra’s voice was pretty unique and current, really. Boon was really really friendly as well. But of course, Wicked Aura Batucada stole the show with their killer beats and groundbreaking vocals and showmanship by the frontman. I pretty enjoyed the whole of the episode to be honest, although we’re backstage most of the time. It can never be anymore perfect that the line-up. Our band (Heregoesnothing) gave it our all as well, and we were relieved to have received an awesomely positive review from one of Power Of Pop critics, Samuel C!

The webcasts sessions with Soo were the most interesting parts of the night though. Soo was hilaaaaaaaaaaariooooooous! We did some American Idol auditions parody thing backstage live on the webcast, and Fifi, Sha, Soo, and Yunnie (production coordinator) had to judge an audition with me being the contestant, and Iqmal and Sly had to be the guitarist and the backup dancer. To Shigga Shay fans, we didn’t mean to mock Shigga Shay at all. The band didn’t even stutter anything negative about him on the webcast. We were just singing one of his songs, and we even mentioned that we’re fans of Shigga Shay. We respect Shigga Shay and his affiliates as talented artistes, and we wish him all the best for his future endeavours.

I guess that’s all about Live N Loaded for now. Had a blast, and I’d like to thank the producers and whoever’s involved for giving us this opportunity to showcase our music on national television.

Okay so anyway, I’m in an empty classroom right now. Really zonked out, my eyes are killing me. I have this really weird habit – wearing only one side of my contact lenses. The reason is because I’m always too lazy to wear the other side in the morning, and especially when my dad’s honking his stupid car horn downstairs so that I’ll hurry because he thinks I’m causing the delay on purpose, when actually I was trying to put on the other side of my lenses.

Sigh.

Okay I know its the new year so you’d figure I’d post my new year resolutions and whatnot. Or maybe even do the whole “I’m gonna look back on what we did this year and repent” thing. But nah, I’m gonna have to take the whole page and a gigacentury to do that. Seriously man, if there were to be one word to describe 2008, it’d be unbelievable.

Anyway, went out with Ikhlas, Jelina and Lester to Sentosa for a beach day out on the 18th of December. Had an awesome time! Jelina can never even get a slight tan, not even when she’s fully exposed under then sun for hours. The birthday surprise on the Vivo’s roofdeck was sweet. Didn’t expect it at all. Left me speechless. Aww man, woohoo. Love you guys man.

Then, another birthday surprise with Azeela (coz we share the same birthdate) from Nabila, Jannah, and Eri at Nab’s house. You guys shocked me to death I thought I was gonna die of a heart attack! One of the best pranks ever made, love you guys too. Oh we planned at the last minute for a short escapade to Escape Theme Park around the evening on the same day. Everyone went insane at the haunted house – hahaha!

Oh, I’m currently in the Youth Olympic Games Adventurers team in school, and we have to plan fundraising events for our backpacking trip to Europe to promote YOG and Singapore and all that. I must say, its stressful. I mean, cmon, events management can be a pain in the neck, but it’s really fun. I’m gonna miss doing things like these when its all over, but there’s always the Eurotrip if we’re selected. What more, doing it with awesome people like Ikhlas, Jelina, Lester and Azeela makes it all the more worthwhile.

I guess there are alot of things to look forward to in the year ahead. I really can’t wait to see what’s in store in 2009, to be honest. To kickoff the year, there will be performances at the studio, and South Agora with my awesome bandmates on the 7th and 10th of January for the open house, can’t wait for that one. It’s gonna be a little weird now since the last time I’ve been on stage was a month ago. Hope everything goes fine!

Anyway, speaking about RP’s open house, be sure to attend it coz there are tons of things to look out at this year’s. Jean Danker’s gonna host Dont Forget The Lyrics together with Aleric Tay. VJ Utt’s gonna host the School Of Rock concert, in conjuction with Channel 5’s new programme “Live and Loaded”. There will be performances featuring bands such as Plainsunset, A Vacant Affair and West Grand Boulevard etc. It’s gonna be a spanking awesome week, look out for it :)

Whoa, where do I start?

I really miss blogging. I don’t wanna start whining how busy I was lately, coz it's quite a cliche’d thing in my previous posts so I’d spare some mercy for people who still reads this thing even when I had been on a terribly long hiatus. I think hiatus is pretty normal for me, at least. When I type out a post, I really want it to be cool and long, you know, so I love to keep on typing even when I dont even make any sense, like now. I realised the longer the posts in this blog are, the nicer the page will be. It makes me feel.. scholar-esque. srsly. Don’t give me that look. Heh.

Right so anyway, The previous two months have been really really awesome for me. The journey till the end of the year was amazing. No words could ever describe the moments I had (since I stopped blogging) – maybe that explains the silence in the blog. Accompanied by my irreplaceable friends, and the positive energy I’ve gotten around me, I’ve gone through one hell of a blast. Nothing can ever top anything, LIKE THAT. Ok, this is getting a little corny. Moving onnn..

I really dont get the hype around Twilight and stuff like that. Everyone’s blogging about it, everyone’s talking about it. But catch this – most of them don’t even read the series. Best of all, they don't even read the first one (which the movie is actually about). All the hype around the movie is making the book sound overrated. The ah lians behind me were like “HAHH! SO FAST END ALREADY AH? WHY LIKE THAT ONE? WAH LIAO *insert chinese vulgar*” when the credits started rolling. Thank goodness there are people like Nabila who preached like a true twilight pilgrim after that - “Don't watch twilight if you don't read twilight” – Nabila. Hahaha, I can laugh the whole day putting up with this girl’s antiques.

Watched Twilight yesterday with the amazing holey-moley Aristo-crats (Lester, Ikhlas, Jelina, Sheila, Haiqal, Myra, Nabila). Nabila and Myra gave the loudest gasps when Jasper and Alice came into the picture. I agree with the reaction though – the jasper and alice parts were the highlights in the movie, for me. Edward sucked at acting. He’s supposed to be all bold, mysterious, and a little snarky, but in the movie, he looked like he just had a hangover sniffing cheese wine the night before. Bella sucked as well. She mumbles alot, and it sometimes look like she’s trying a little too hard to be Bella. The other members of the Cullens, on the other hand, were awesome. I thought they really stood out from the amateurs in the movie. Rosalie displayed her disagreement against Bella really well. I thought the Port Angeles scene was too rushed, and Charlie and Bella’s lack of chemistry kinda put me off as well. Lester was impressed, Ikhlas thought it was dead boring. I guess, there are different opinions to everything. But, as a Twilight fan, I don’t think it was near impressive at all. Looking forward to the sequel though. I guess its the result of a really low budget, and a bad director. Now that Hardwicke got laid-off, and they’ve gotten a wholesome amount of profit from Twilight, the next one will definitely step up its credibility. I’m sure they’ll need to spend more this time (on what? on the werewolves outfits for Team Jacob ^^)

So that was yesterday. What did I do for the last two months? Hmm.

Teenage Icon 2008 was a great phase. Though I didn’t win, I absolutely enjoyed the moments I had with my band during the whole competition. Meeting Najip Ali for his tips on stage presence was awesome. The BREATHE roadshow at The Padang as part of competition’s promo was unforgettable. Imagine performing infront of thousands on a stage a la Glastonbury Festival. It was nerve-wrecking, but I had the time of my life. Took a pic with Fiona Xie backstage as well. I must say, she’s like the definition of a perfect asian woman. oh-my-god! Haha. Congrats Amanda and Alicia! All the best for the smooth road ahead!

Replug’s An Acoustic Night concert did phenomenally amazing as well. It was a sold-out concert, period. I guess the publicity work Dhiv, Mus and me had done really did paid off. Great great reviews followed ahead of the concert, and TRCC (Zaini and Ganesh) is even willing to give us a 3-night concert at the Studio, or a 1 night only concert at the Theatre next year. How cool is that!! It’s really one of those moments that make me really proud of Replug. Way to go! (Thanks Fiona, Huda, Qi Rong, and Jing Zhe for coming all the way. Miss you guys ;) )

Flames Awards 2008 (Party of the year) was great. It was like prom back in secondary school, but twenty times better. The theme was Masquerade so we had to dress up and all. There were a couple of hiccups during the award show, but the dancefloor made up for it. There were two dancefloors opened for us at TRCC. The Blackbox’s playing trance music, and the Studio’s playing Hip-hop. Everyone totally let loose, especially Haiqal who really shone through among the other shufflers. Haha, really.

Then came the icing on the cake – Reflections 2008 Closing Bash. What a perfect way to close this one hell of an arts festival. Performing “Mercy” alongside Taufik, Pravin Saivi, Freaky Z was the main highlight of this year for me really. I had fun during Mercy, and the audience was really crazy and receptive. I didn’t expect the support and the screams at all. It was one of the best moments I’ve ever had in my life, and I really can’t thank you guys enough. I really cant :)

More things happened during my hiatus. I wanna say everything here, I really do. But, my eyes are hurting me after staring at the screen for ages. Having awesome friends such as Nabila, Myra, Haiqal, Sheila, Lester, Ikhlas and Jelina are like the cherry on top of the well-crafted icing cake and come to think of it, they are the kind of friends I can really keep and confide into, for life (hopefully) and I’m really really thankful to have them. *Insert AWW sound clip*

Life with W47D has been alright as well. But, we’re not as bonded as my classmates and I were in E36Q last semester. Everyone’s pretty much living their own lives in this current class. There’s no sort of external out of school bonding among us, really. But they’re alright. Comfortable enough to work with in class, and that’s good enough I guess. :)

Alright then, there has to be an end to everything, and to this post. Hahaa.

I’ll blog again soooon (not the farhanshah kinda soon, like soon soon)! Cheers.

Sorry for the totally lack of updates and replies on the tagboard. I have been absolutely busy (what's new?) with Replug (what's new?). I realised something - I haven't really had a really personal post for ages! The last time I actually typed something really from deep within in this blog was maybe two years ago. I really need to dish out everything I've got within me, but I'm not exactly comfortable with the fact that everyone's going to absorb what I've trashed out. I need a personal (locked) blog that can act as my personal 'laundry lawn' or something similar. But whats the point of setting one up when I dont even have the fucking time to update this place. Right.

Anyway, things have been pretty much exciting lately. Replug's publicity team have recently managed to complete almost all of the tasks set. Photoshoot's done, song recording perfectly carried out (ooh, and the product turned out awfully amazing), the promo posters went down for editing in less than two hours and it was mothafending worth it. We're just left with the busking dates, and the pre preview performances and the final concert itself!

The photoshoot yesterday was fun like hell. Dont mind the cliche tone. I'm not in the right mood to substitute 'hell' to something else, really. (fuck digressing) So like I said, it was the most interesting replug publicity-related event so far. With the moving of the furnitures to the big grass patch at Admiralty Park and everything else, it was a cool experience and we did it without any help from TRCC lol. Hows that!

Went to watch House Bunny with nabiloli and lesterbahh and jana on a random day on a random time at a random place. Guilty pleasure indeed. Hilarious, but typical. Bad continuity, boring storyline, predictable structure. The only thing impressive was Anna Faris - she pulls off the typical bimbo of a blonde character really well. Better than Mena Suvari. (I got that random name from Mus btw, ;] )

Time is so bloody essential now especially when you have millions of stuffs happening/ that are supposed to happen in an impossible time frame. Replug publicity/events planning which is taking 99% of my time, Esplanade concert (done!), Teenage Icon Semi-finals, Hari Raya preparations, and many others which I can't possibly count are pretty much vie de moi right now. I've never been this busy my whole life, really. After buka, there goes my blatant resumption to the laptop, which I have been so attached to since school started. Oh, I wished I had the right energy, mind and time to blog lol, but not when I breathe, sigh, think, shower, eat (and everything in between) Replug every second. Look on the bright side though. I love Replug like I love Lacoste shoes. Its one of those things I'm so attached to, well besides the notebook of course. I want Reflections Replug to be a hit, so does everybody else. Cmon Replugios, we can do it!

So there you have it, a whiney introduction on a "Ooh another blogpost only after I grow a beard!" post.

On a lighter note, Hip Hop Hurray 5 @ Esplanade concert was a blast. It was a totally unforgettable experience, with the awesome crowd and the superb sound and stage setting. It was my first outdoor showcase by the way so it was really nerve-wrecking. Besides the little vocal hiccups and signs of nervousness here and there, I thought it went great. The band was flipping awesome. The arrangements for Toxic and Mercy sounded best on that night imo. Amir, the rapper, did great as well. We did his original composition, Played Out, during the set, and it totally was the most epic-est moment of the night. A huge Thank You (I can never thank you guys enough though) to Imran Ajmain for this out-of-the-world opportunity. If it wasn't for you, this would not happen (of course!). You should really be there at the event and look out for my little tribute. Hahaha. Mucho Gracias, again. Have fun and all the best at KL! To Raudha, you were phenomenal. Nobody manages better than you to be honest. Thank you for the patience and understanding throughout the whole process. Again, HH5 wouldn't be a success without you. Ashley was so so patient as well - Thanks for the nice and warm assistance! To Heregoesnoth!ng, Fifi and Amir - It looks like our hardwork and excruciating days of practice finally paid off. I still remember Iqmal was literally snoring through rehearsals, and we had to cut it short because he was too exhausted. Fifi and sly too for forcing out that crazy amount of energy to practise eventhough you guys had Polyforum the day before. Amir, thanks for the rapping feature. You rock, big time. And lastly, thank you so much for all the support for those who came down all the way to the city to watch us and also spend their buka time at the theatre itself. Aww lol. I am missing alot of people right now. To be honest, I am missing them so much I need to see them soon lol. Maybe because Raya is coming, and I'm anticipating. Yeah, I'm missing Elmo Inc. badly. The last time we met was before my Australian trip - and thats in June! Whoahh, 3 months! I wonder how they look like now. I know Dayah's grown fatter (jk!) and Nizam's pretty stressed out with promos (so he mustve lost weight), Huda's freaking out at Christina Aguilera's latest release, Shafiq's coping really well with JC (havent heard from him for a very long time, gahhhh!), Nazirul, who has this intense crush on this new hottie and Aisyah who's busy writing poems in her blog. We have to meet up soon guys. Just what I need. Can't wait for raya - argh.

Alright then, I gotta resume 'tampering' with some Replug issues now. Sigh. Till then, take care.

I know its hell annoying to reach this blog and realise I haven't been updating religiously. Reason because, I have an unbelievably tight schedule ahead of me. Either that, or I was just being a closet anti-blogger. I dont know, it's weird cause' I've always thought of blogging in the midst of having fun. But when I reach the blogger login page, my motivation died instantaneously. Maybe it's the big-ass blogger logo, or the fact that I have to type my not-so-short email address in the username blank or maybe because the font used in the space given to blog reminds me of Emma Honeyfield's handwriting. No, that's not a good thing.

Right so anyway, Gideon introduced Windows Live Writer to me and that means..! I dont have to ~~travel~~ type my way to blogger.com to see the ginormous brainwashing self-obsessed blogger logo, and then type my 1 mile email address just to freaking login and see Emma. Thanks to Gideon (I actually mentioned you twice in one post cacat), you'll notice from now onwards that I'll blog like its the coolest thing to do on earth.

During the hiatus, my hair grew by 15cm believe it or not! (CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW LONG I HAVENT BEEN BLOGGING!) But I cut my masterpieces three days ago, coz' my fringe apparently got too friendly with my forehead which led to a massive breakout of spots right there. But I've got rid of em already :)

I'll blog about the superawesome 'devirginising' E36Q chalet soon, and oh yeah, not to mention the 'hair-raising' Replug chalet I really need to tell you guys about.

Pretty much the most-anticipated event in RP(or Singapore rather), it was previously named "RP Rockfest 2008", but due to its commercial potential it's getting and will be getting, it definitely deserves a much more glamorous name. Thus, IGNITE Music Festival 2008. Due to that, acoustic and mainstream pop acts have also been introduced to the line-up ever since.

What could be really devastating is the fact that I have my Teenage Icon 2008 heats on Saturday, and that it coincides with whole thing so that could mean that I'll miss the whole of day 2 ]=. The heats will start at 3pm though, so if we get to perform earlier, there will still be hope of rushing down from the City to Woodlands to catch it on time. Oh talking about Teenage Icon 2008, if anyone's interested to watch or if you guys happen to be in town on Saturday by any chance (Probably because of the new sale at Topman), you might wanna come down at 3pm to the fountain stage at The Heeren to catch the heats. There'll be some sort of a voting procedure, so voting actually helps. I'm not hinting, i think. Heh.

This blog is literally dead even the frugal millipedes cant deny that for a fact. =='
Its so surreal, and extremely frustrating that I have millions of crazy things to post about, but I dont even know where to start. From the holiday at Australia to meeting Imran Ajmain last night at Mosi to replacing powerpoint presentations with class individual discussions for meeting three. Seriously, if I were to procrastinate any longer, I'll go nuts.

I'm not gonna post about the Australia trip since it's 'overdue' so its not fresh in my mind anymore, but I'll upload the pics though. The problem is.. everytime I tried to upload something, my PC will freeze to irritation. No wonder the procrastination. Sigh.

I'll figure out a way as soon as possible. Guess I have to procrastinate a little bit more then.
But this time, its not major procrastination coz' I really really (ignore repetition of the word to emphasize urgency) ~~want~~ need to get things off my ~~chest~~ mind.

Friday was awesome.
Another reason why theres TGI to the F.

Heregoesnoth!ng (our acoustic band) in Replug had its first performance at The Republic Cultural Centre at RP last friday for the Student Council Inauguration Ceremony 2008. Despite the last minute cock-ups, screw-ups and bad health conditions (shah, caliph and me were down with fever), we pulled through the night with a bang. Got really high in the morning after gulping down my double shot latte from Galilee, which sort of affected my voice adversely at first during practice. So, I kinda neutralised the caffeine inside my body system by drinking gallons of water so I can discharge the caffeine out of my body, and it helped thankfully.

After soundchecks, we headed to our awesome dressing room backstage to chill out and wait for our turn to perform. It felt like we were at Esplanade's backstage or something. Everything looked brilliantly cool. There's even a flatscreen tv displaying a live footage of the stage acquired from the camera at the auditorium. Jammed with SHZ and Tainted Hearts (who were also performing for the event) for a bit, and a rep called us out of the room to perform.

The audience were great and responsive. I sort of screwed up during the performance in the middle, lucky it wasn't obvious. The combined sound was fantabulous. Kudos to the sound engineers/technicians! All the long travels from Pasir Ris to Woodlands on the weekend, the late nights practising, and the healthy stress were all worth it in the end. Heregoesnoth!ng all the way!

It has beeen ages!

I haven't been very loyal to blogger.com and whatnots lately, due to time and energy. (Read: I travel from the East to the West everyday). I've always wanted to update and stuff, but I realised I'm always drained out when I get back from school. Lucky theres the bus service from Woodlands to the East, but still you have to transfer buses and all, and its getting mundane like hell. I wish I can actually update this thing like every 5 seconds like Nizam, but unfortunately my school is not like 5 traffic lights away.

There's tons to write about I dont even know where to start.
Okay, you know the Replug thing I was talking about two/three posts ago.
All my bandmates got through (!!) and we sort of had a band name already.
After going through the whole Oxford dictionary, we decided on "Heregoesnoth!ng"
AND THAT DIDNT EVEN COME FROM THE DICTIONARY AT ALL.

Shah: Okay ah, we just keep shooting cool words from the dictionary and pick the best ones.
Caliph: okay, one two three!
Me: Okay, here goes nothing!
Me: EH WAIT, HERE GOES NOTHING!
Shah: okay wait ah, relax. I'm still finding.
Me: NO NO, Our band name, Heregoesnothing! Cooool right!

Oh yeah, I was nominated to take part in this modelling show thing (Artestified) organised by SUI! Republic Poly. It's pretty radical. The whole student forum was turned into a full fledged runway for the event. Neat stuff. It's some hunt for Mr and Ms SUI! of RP, and you go through photoshoots, coachings and all. We need to carry and showcase apparels and merchandise from Giordano BSX and SUI. There were pretty hilarious obscene moments backstage, but I guess there werent other choices. Hell, we had fun! Thanks to the other (hot) contestants-turned-friends like Joachim, Marvin, Terry, Kin Meng, Sharon, Hannah, Shaikha, Diana, Rachel! I missed the SUI! moments with you guys man. Results out tomorrow (:

Went out with Afeeq in the morning today for the Teenage Icon 08 Auditions. It was again, another random sort of thing. It was kind of like an "I-dont-know-what-to-do-this-saturday-so-lets-go-for-it" thing. Saw Ben Khoh and Candice there in the queue as well. The auditions were nerve-wrecking, as always. The judges were from Music&Movement, and they look like theyre set to devour anything in front of them. So, I felt really vulnerable. Things got a little shaky in the middle, but it turned out alright in the end cause I got out of the room with this!

I really didn't see it coming. It was just a mere random attempt to kill time, and I didnt have thoughts of joining this thing cause' my schedule's pretty tight for upcoming months. Oh well, since I'm through, its worth a try and see where this leads me to. Hopefully it'll be worthwhile. (:

Cant wait for tomorrow's Replug's internal performance. Heregoesnoth!ng's gonna rock the auditorium again! This time, its "Valerie" by Mark Ronson ft Amy Winehouse, and hopefully we'll pull through. Oh, and the results of Mr and Ms SUI! I dont really have high hopes for that though, but ALL THE BEST TO EVERYONE! (:

P.S.S. Oh yeah, during practice with my bandmates at RP yesterday (at about 9pm), we saw a shooting star speeding right through the sky above us. It was amazing. I became totally speechless for an hour.

TWILIGHT MOVIE TEASER TRAILER OUT!

Just.amazing.
Was waiting all year for this. Judging from the teaser trailer, I think it's gonna be a hell of a kickass flick. Summit Entertainment totally worked it like how I expected the imagery of the scenes to turn out like. I'll take back what I said in the post about how Edward looked fug and totally didnt look like the Edward in the book. Edward really looked like Edward now, and Bella really looked like Bella. The special effects are omfgsuperfudginglyawesome esp. the part where Edward tried to save Bella from the truck's collision, and also the part when Edward started to pounce to glide through the woods. Even the woods looked exactly like what I imagined it to be. The movie is going to own every other movie adaptations. Stephenie Meyers must be proud!

THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY.

After gazitrillion years, I finally came across one of the simplest blogskins available on the template site. Customised a few things here and there, and decided to make do with what the template has for now. I wanted to get one of those digital clocks or something to place at the sidebar, but I'll leave it like this for the moment.

Well well well,
it had been a pretty intense week nevertheless. With the Replug audition, and results(!!), a little mishap somewhere around the middle, attending our first talk in an attempt to get our first CE, DA and DP points, made a little improvement on the enterprise module, and also, last but not least, the publicity discussions with the helpful TRCC/CAP peeps. Pretty neat stuff, probably the busiest week since the start of school. It will get as jam-packed as this. No wait, thrice as busy next week. Brace yourself, farhan.

Stardust Finals are just around the corner, and I can almost see The Arena a mile away. I'm getting nervous as hell, with little preparation done so far. I'll most likely use the next weekend or so to give it a go at rehearsing. I'm not even through deciding on my final song choices. Speaking of which, I need to send in the soundtrack to Yi Xian by tonight. Procrastinating kills, especially when time constraints couldnt get any narrower than this.

Oh yeah, I got through Replug's first round of auditions! Acoustic music all the way baby.
Anyway, the people who got through the first round are assigned to their own bands, and we have to perform as a band for the second round of auditions. One vocalist to a band of four/five. A little nervous cause' I've never been in a band before. I yandao-ed my bandmates for abit, and got the photos (more of their student matriculation card mugshots) from the database:

I've been wanting to update for so long, but its either i'm fcuked up with reflection journals after school at home, or i'm just too shagged to do anything. "Waking up at 6 in the morning, and coming back from school at 5:30 every weekday" sounds tiring enough. What more, PBL is tiring. The first thing you see in the morning (besides the stupendous amount of milipedes crawling around like nobody's business) everyday is, a problem. Talk about living life flawlessly. Problems sure can't be avoided in RP, if you know what I'm talking about. Who ever thought they're gonna spend their life solving problems everyday? Inevitable.

So two weeks of school have ran past in the split-est of seconds. Time never moved this fast really. I had an awesome time with my new classmates, thankfully. Alfred's birthday was "messy" but great. The dirty talks we had on microsoft communicator during boring 6Ps and meeting twos were unavoidable but definitely humorously entertaining. Hannah, Tim, Faith, Rainer never fail to rock my day. Jing Lie's "eh"s and his put-up chemistry with Shawn never leaves me on my seat without laughing my ass off.

Yesterday was the last day of the orientation. Actually it was the hippest day of the OP. Everyone suddenly bonded like crazy, and the shyer ones totally loosened up and let their guard down to soak into the fun. STA was really the craziest school yesterday, no wonder I've heard from a couple of year twos that STA is prolly the 'funnest' school in RP. The other schools were great as well, but we totally owned. lmao.

We had breakfast in the morning at Ya Kun's at Causeway Point at about 7:30 in the morning. Nab and I were seriously amused at everything, esp when the lady said "Fren sheeshee toe" in an attempt to pronounce "French Cheesy Toast". Huda was stoning, maybe because the wind froze her face during the journey in the car before that. That was the heartiest breakfast I've ever had actually - pretty ironical cos' we had macd for breakfast the other day. Nothing beats the protein value of the almost perfect combination of two half-boiled eggs, cheese, a slice of bread (coated with egg). Traditional yet, nutritional, I like.

Headed to RP, settled at the sports hall cause' thats where STA's home base was for the orientation. Received our goodie bags containing our RP Student Union t-shirt, muffins for breakfast, OP booklet, and stuff like that. Got assigned to our groups for the Amazing RP Hunt thing, and it was cool that Sue got into the same group as me. We went to every corner of the campus coz the stations were located all over the place and we had to complete the challenges at all the stations. I particularly like the station at the ALC, where the whole group of 18 had to stand on a huge balancing plank and we have to create an equal moment. Pretty mint, but hilarious cos' of our reactions when one side of the plank sped down to hit the ground.

After the whole thing, we practised and rehearsed for the STA performance. We had to do the war cry, STA cheer and a performance of any sort - skit, sing, dance etc. So, our school planned to do dikir barat, chinese opera and a bollywood dance since it represented the three local main ethnic groups. Of course, we had to do it in English. It was fun, considering the fact that I have no experience at all in Dikir. The girls did the bollywood dance, and Sue was in the Chinese Opera group (she was the lead opera actress, lol). Hafiz was really committed and enthusiastic - if it wasnt for him, the school wont be as happening as it was yesterday.

The leap frog world record attempt took place afterthat. We had to scan our student pass and write down our identification card number to proceed to the Agora Lawn, since it was an official international event. There was a long waiting time towards the record attempt, coz it wasnt easy to fit 1320 people at the same time. Thats why we had to be in groups of ten so that it'd be hassle free later on. We started after one hour plus, and successfully broke the world record after the second attempt cause many were seen touching the ground with their hands and knees. When the Guinness reps officially announced that it was successful, everyone jumped like nutcases but it was worth everything. Cmon, its so surreal to be apart of a world record and the press were there to capture us celebrating. Pretty embarassing but who cares. We made history!

So there was the Jam & Hop Lawn Party after lawn dinner to celebraaate and party all night. I shall not elaborate on the school performance thing since we screwed up coz of lack of preparations and last minute changes, but RSH won big time. Cheers! The Jammers Arena rockband performed songs from MCR, RJA etc., followed by the amazing percussion ensemble and the emp where everyone totally danced their asses off. Afiq, Sue and me were like ones who totally forgot the world and put our grooves on. It started with "Low" and ended at eleven pm with "Dont Stop The Music". It was OFF THE HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK, it could even be the party of the year.

I know this is out of line, but I just have to say this cause its inevitable.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL WAS A FRICKIN BLAST!
first days of schools were never that 'explosive' really. My first day in primary school was all teary, and the first day of secondary school was just.. weird.

It all started with my dad sending huda and me to school way early. We were too excited for school I didnt need a snooze on my alarm. Had breakfast at Macs at Causeway Point at about quarter past seven, and we walked to school debating whether the guy behind us was a SAS freshie cause of the way he looked like. It wasnt discriminative neither was it stereotypical. Okay maybe it was a little stereotypical, but you can't blame us. Science students are portrayed as people with big spectacles and black messenger bags. Maybe he was an STA freshman, unlikely but you'll never know. Stereotypes influenced people. It was just the ol' kinda joke where you blurt out when you're ecstatic and totally forget the world.

When we reached at our lists at the RPC, Huda saw her name and kept on repeating her class so it won't slip off her mind before she actually gets to her class. Typical precaution. Everyone was so tightly dressed. There were even girls who donned themselves in dresses and stuff. It was cool, looking at pre-adults doing their thang, mingling around, talking on their mobile phones with their newfound adult-esque facial expressions. You know, everything's so mature now. This transition to the adult stage is pretty overwhelming. This is where life actually starts.

We were supposed to get to our classes at 9am. I got lost in the midst of searching for Block E3, but thanks to one of the reliable guides, I managed after a bit. The whole campus is airconditioned, starting from the entrance to every single corner of the school. Everything looked so sleek, the windows were full ceiling-to-floor glass panels. Everything looked hell futuristic. The library looked like a five star hotel esp. the parquet-floored parts near Cafe Galilee. The Agora halls looked exactly like the exhibition halls from SG Expo. The classrooms were designed to top notch that it could actually resemble a learning environment of the next millenium. Attendance taking are done electronically through the school's online system, and we are not given any books or anything else that derived from trees cause all the resources are sent/received through the school's virtual private network. Huda texted me the minute she got into her class "OMG THERES THIS CUTE GUY THAT JUST STEPPED INTO THE CLASS AS WELL, AND I THINK HE'S MALAY", but she realised later that 'he's from Myanmar with a very thick Myanmese accent'. Aww, what a letdown for her almost-happening vision. Girls.

I made friends with my groupmates, and Faith was a stunner. Aside from her gorgeousness, her personality and her speaking skills were aweeesome. Max and the other two girls (I forgot their names) were as cool as well. Had a great time, I can totally foresee myself having an exciting semester with this peeps. Problem solving never seemed that fun, and the mini debate that we went through earlier was hilarious. I met lutfi, irfan, hazwan, nabilah, remington and the rest though, during one of the breakouts. Sue was hyper like a meerkat after finishing up its salmon feed. She hugged huda as if huda was an oak tree. We were all worried sick on whether we're gonna have enough time to do up our presentations to the current problem statement for the day. Saw Hafiz LPS as well, so cool to be meeting up with your primary school friends after a long time. Got my laptop configured after school, and that took 3 hours. In the meantime, we went to pizza hut for lunch, as well as to kill time. We left school at around 6pm.

E36Q rocked the day, and will continue to rock till the end.
Tomorrow's STA Orientation Day, and I cant wait to see what's in store. STA freshies!
Can't wait for formal school to start next monday definitely as well!

P.S. Huda's gonna start wearing bras made of iron, so when disaster strikes, a higher scale catastrophe will happen. hahahahaha, inside joke. FUDGING FUNNY CANT STOP LAUGHING.

School's starting tomorrow.
Orientation ends this Friday, so school officially runs next Monday.
After four whole months of pure bliss, school's calling. I don't know whether to feel excited or otherwise, coz I'll miss waking up late everyday and catch the morning shows on Star World, and have proper breakfast and hog the laptop till the wee hours of the morning.
It's finally time again to go back to our laptops (goodbye to books. joy), and the mundane tests. Lucky we're only gonna have open-book tests (means that we can refer to any sources of information during the tests), how radical is that. But, what's gonna be different is that we're gonna have presentations and problem-solving everyday, which pretty much sucks. At least its better than secondary school where the only things you do is listen, practise and memorise. Independant learning ftw! Deff. looking forward to it.

Day One is going to be formal lessons. It's like a demo of what a normal school day would turn out like. Followed by Day Two where all the fun begins with STA (games and stuff like that), and Day Three where its gonna be much more fun with Jam and Hop at the lawn at night. I hope I wont be like Nab last year, when she only realised that she got into the wrong class forty-five minutes later.lmao

So it's the first of April today. and that means its April's fools day. Izzat Nero freaked the shit outta me in an attempt to fool me. I shouldve known. I didn't really keep track of the calendar. I thought it was still March or someth'n, but i managed to fool a couple too so that made up for it.

Stardust Semi-finals 2008!
I MADE IT THROUGH THE FINALS!!!
I really really didnt see it coming, the other contestants' vocal abilities and showmanship were jaw-dropping. The competition was so tough, it totally gave Singapore Idol a run for their money. The suspense was overwhelming. All of them were so good I couldn't even detect flaws in their performances. The bands were so bloody wicked too. It was a superb night, a little lengthy though (it starts from 6pm to 10pm), but heck it was all worth it in the end.

Thank you all for your support in voting and for even coming yesterday.

The atmosphere yesterday was over-the-top. It was awesome. The crowd went wild, and some of them even headbanged to the band semi-finalists. The atmosphere was electrifying, the fanfare was great, it could even match the fanfare of a soccer match at the National Stadium. It started half an hour late though, cause of some admin matters. Paige started first and ended with Shaiful, followed by the bands which ended with a serious bang by Sixology. When I got on stage, my heart dropped. The spotlight was shining directly on my face I couldnt even see anyone in the audience, and I had to squint my eyes due to the overpowering brightness. I grabbed hold of the mic and the music played and did the best that I could. Jay Lim (Top 10 Singapore Idol finalist) was one of the judges, and he looked so serious. I kept calm, and tried to pull through till the end. It was a great experience, you know, Stardust is my first ever public competition. This is so surreal.

Each finalists are given tickets for the finals to sell away, or else you have to buy them from the Stardust organisation peeps. The finals will be held at The Arena @ Clarke Quay on May 16th, Friday evening. It's dubbed Singapore's No.1 International Live Music Venue. Seriously, it's quite an opportunity. I've always wanted to go to The Arena to check what's all the buzz about.

Stardust Semi-finals 2008!

this will probably be the last update till Saturday, and I'm updating about this now coz' I'll be away till Friday coz of the STA camp and all. Anyway, the big day will take place this Friday and I hope everyone could be there. It's really tough competition, competing against 23 others. With your presence and support, it would be aweesome as a form of motivation to do the best that I could. I'll be singing a ballad (come to find out!) and I hope things are easy for me on the day. Its really nerve wrecking!

Take the MRT to Clementi station. Turn to your right when you've walked pass the ticket gantry, to the bus interchange just next to the MRT station. Take the Bus Service No. 96 to the campus. Alight at the bus-stop opposite the Central Library, which is the second stop after the bus turns into the NUS campus.

From what the poster says, there will be a bazaar starting at 10am selling alot of stuffs, and food. There will be stuff like Air Brush tattoos at $5 and manicure at 10 bucks and things like that, and the Finals @ The Arena tickets will be sold there too.

I woke up at 12:25pm today, and I didnt feel right. I dont know, it feels like I didnt manage to accomplish something. I missed breakfast dammit. I'm sure most of you have heard from everywhere that breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day, as compared to lunch and dinner, and I had that in mind all the time. I always wanted to find out why, but due to time constraints and everything else, it always slipped off my mind until today when I thought something was really amiss. It's weird, I dont know how to put it words. When I missed breakfast, it was as if a Katharine Mcphee fanatic had missed an American Idol finale episode. It was that major (okay American Idol's not a big deal at all, but you definitely get what I mean). Here's why breakfast is so bloody vital for an average day: A healthy breakfast refuels your body and replenishes your blood sugar (glucose), giving you the energy necessary to start a new day. In addition, a growing body of evidence indicates that breakfast is good for both your physical and mental health.

Studies show that people who eat breakfast, especially a healthy breakfast, are more likely to consume more vitamins and minerals and less fat and cholesterol during the day, have better concentration and be more productive throughout the morning due to the replenishing of glucose (glucose is the main brain's energy source), control their weight (researchers speculate that eating breakfast may reduce hunger later in the day, or that it may cause eaters to choose less-dense foods at later meals. Seriously, its either that my alarm wasn't set for this morning, or my mobile phone died on me, and so the alarm wont go off since there's no battery power left. I need to get one of those reliable alarm clocks that really buzz off, and the only thing you can do to stop it from buzzing is to lob it against the wall. That'll work.

Phew, just got back from the polyclinic (finally) at Pasir Ris Central to submit a little something before my next appointment. It was pretty nostalgic, I really missed that place. Oh theres a new bakery, and the one which sells fantastic waffles had a quite deserving revamp (They probably used the awesome profits from the waffles sale). Walking down that lane along the shop corridors was like going through a trial of the fond memories I have during the PRCS days. The moments after school to get bubble tea at the last shop, cheese waffles from the bakers, and chips from the western foodstall near seashell park. We'll usually sit on the wide steps or the sitting areas in front of the bubble tea store while indulging into our food, or just hanging out with the usual extraodinaires. The whole area was just memorable. The bridge, the 358 bus stop, and everywhere else. I couldnt help but to recall the past moments. Bah, I miss elmo inc, and four-six risktakers. You know, I hope theres a remote control, ala Click, for sale somewhere so when we're having the time of our lives, we can pause time and make it endless. But, its reality. Time moves on.

So why have I gone cheesy all of a sudden? Pretty rhetorical. I'm listening to some song called "A Drop In The Ocean" by Ron Pope. He's under some independant label, and writes his own songs. I've never seen lyrics as spectacular as his, and this particular song is really nice. It stirred up my mood for a bit, really empowering.

I guess when artists go mainstream, or transfer into a much more major record label, they get controlled and influenced with the mainstream needs of the musical demands today, and hence some will lose their credibility. Like pop for example, its actually derived from the longer word "Popular", and its pretty much influenced to meet the popular musical standard. If you know what I mean. Right now, it heavily depends on just beats, melody, club-bangers material, and stuff like that. Lyrics and musicality plays a tiny role in popular music now, which is sad. The initial foundation of music is being neglected. Those two things are really the most important elements of a song. Personally, those two elements bring about credibility and the true colours of a song. It gives a song the quality strength. It's just undescribable. No wonder VH1 has events and shows like "Save the Music foundation" to actually save the essence of real music. I seriously dont get how Hardcore Metal music came about. I mean, thats just noise. It's just a form of emotional expression, which actually turned into a genre subsequently. Go grab Rollingstones magazine. I think it has pretty versatile and unbiased reviews and articles on almost all genres of music of today's generation.

Whoa, that was expressive enough. I'm really sorry if theres anything that might offend any of you. If you think I should be corrected, then please share your personal opinions as well. I'd love to hear them.

The Topman/Topshop Fashion Party takes place tomorrow. It's gonna showcase the upcoming Spring/Summer 2008 Collection, and there's gonna be fabulous food. Cool ah, the rest all mingle around, I'll just hang around the food table okay. Haha, but seriously, I'm really looking forward to see the collection. Theres gonna be 20% off their new arrivals too. It's gonna rock, hopefully. Syaz, give me a ring soon.

I've finally decided on the song choice for the Semi-finals, after 8 million years. It's not easy at all, its hell difficult. I've chosen a song that may be the right one to showcase the vocal range for a bit. (Hint: It's not a song that I havent sung before.) It's pretty obvious. I have no ideas on what else to sing. I'm having second thoughts though. Singing ballads (especially this) can be quite boring sometimes. I mean, what can you do? Sit, stand, sing. You can't put your groove on. I'm thinking of a Crazy/Aint No Sunshine medley, but I dont have time to practise for it. STA Camp is happening really soon, and I only have today and half of the day tomorrow to rehearse. Phew, I'll just have to stay calm and start really confirming now. If I freak out, I'll definitely have my heart in my mouth in no time. Okay. I'm starting to freak out.

After more than 4 months idling at home, life gets too easy. its pretty much routine when you're stuck at home: wake up, eat, surf the net, sleep. but of course, a little less duller and much more exciting when you have a day out with your mates as a form of casual social retreat. its too good to be true, in fact, it feels weird when life gets this easy. there's nothing to aim within this idletime, absolutely nothing to go for. Its scary leading life aimlessly. This made me think that education really has that purpose some people failed to realise. With it, you know where your bearings are, and where your goals are set, and with those, you work towards it.

School's starting in about two weeks, or less. The transition period between secondary and tertiary was memorable. It was certainly the longest break ever, sort of like a hibernation-cum-metamorphosis phase for every post-secondary school students. I havent even touched a pen for like 4 months until last night, when i got bored and decided to do a math exercise off the TYS out of the blue. See, i once said "boredom makes you do weird things". It isnt surprising at all, really. Besides, doing Math now is such an easy feat. It's all in the mentality - "Oh, I've graduated now, so doing O level Math will be no sweat". So to those who's taking the bloody epic Os this year, have the right mindset. After all, it all depends on your perception of achieving.
I feel so advice-y currently, it could be a side effect of long-term idling. Lol, I need to socialise to make up for the solitary days at home.

Talking about my dreary social life, that reminds me of Class 4/6 Reunion Gathering happening at Pasir Ris Park tomorrow. Thanks Caline for the thought of actually organising it since the last one we had in November (which kicked ass!). I guess this gathering will be our last, with the fact that the JC peeps will be going through their Mid Years soon and the rest of the Poly students will start schooling next week. Maybe we won't have any other gatherings probably, if we're lucky, until December or something. Or we may not even have another one in the future. Hope everyone attends this one though.

I guess I wont be idling as much as I had been, starting tomorrow. Wait, I wont be idling at all. My schedule's packed like cramped Krispykremes. Right, so the class reunion's tomorrow, followed by a day out with Syaz and Cassie on Saturday. Monday, I've got polyclinic appointment and Tuesday, some time to prepare for the competition. I've got to attend a Topman/Topshop Fashion Party which I'm invited to, on Wednesday. The next day (Thursday), there's the School of Technology for the Arts overnight camp till the day after, which will lead to the Stardust semi-finals on Friday, the 28th. I'm gonna run around the world like a freaking troll. Hopefully not. Well, I only have time to rest only after the Semis, which is going to be after the 28th, but only up till 2nd of April coz' thats when the school orientation starts. O.O

It'd be so cool reading back your blog posts when you grow a little older and have kids (and worry about growing grey hair all over the place) to realise how tacky and cheesy secondary school life was. The drama, controversies, rumours, hatred, unrealistic flings and everything else were unforgettable. Maybe your kids will visit your own domain later, and read up about their mum's and/or dad's adolescent years. Props to Blogger and the amazing wonders of technology. Don't mind me being totally random - I'm becoming more appreciative and grateful even at the littlest things right now.

Talking about secondary school, there's one thing I'll never ever dare to forget. No one can ever replace any one in Elmo Inc. They're just phenomenal, yeah, out-of-this world. I dont know, we complete a full circle. Different personalities unite together to form a perfect combination of extraordinaires. Haha, semangat like hell.
I can even direct a tv series ala Heroes right now, totally.

Elmo Inc has reunions every month, and recent one was just last two days ago down at the beach. Sad Nazirul couldn't turn up for that one, because he had to accompany his dad fetch his new car from the showflat. We walked under the rain to the beach itself, since I live directly in front of it. Once there, we pitched our tent and settled in there for abit. Thanks for the tent, huda. Like what Aisyah said, it really looked cosy. Everytime we're in there, I felt like snuggling up at a corner and sleep. It was really a good place for hibernation. What more, we had a whole box of Apollo chocolate cakes and a whole lot of tidbits to occupy us during the storm.

When the rain ended, we lost our senses. Haha, we made use of the reasonably vacant playground, and the rain puddles on the grass. Huda was the dirtiest. She didn't care if it was really muddy or clean. She can even dip her face into the mud, without even caring. Nizam and Huda were hyper like never before. We had the time of our lives. Unsurprisingly. Elmo Inc gatherings never dissapoint. Thanks Shafiq, Nizam, Aisyah, Huda and Dayah for the insanely undescribable day. ELMO INC FTW! I love you guys.

I'll upload the photos sometime soon (probably tomorrow) coz currently, they're in my notebook. Anyway, I'm really overwhelmed upon receiving the news on Stardust. It was unexpectable. I swear I didn't see it coming. I screwed up somewhere during my auditions, and I totally lost my confidence when I realize there was great competition. I mean, cmon, the rest have past experiences. If you notice, Jasmine Tye (Singapore Idol Top 3 Finalist), Fiona Tan (Miss Reef Singapore 2007) got through the auditions too, as well as Shaiful Hakim (He's Dayah's sister's friend, who can sing pretty well). Yesterday was the recording session and the photoshoot for the semi finals. I decided to sing "Heaven" by Bryan Adams coz' I didn't have any other ideas. It went okay, you guys will be able to hear it on Quaffs.com as soon as they put them up for public voting. The results of the public voting will contribute to the 20% of the overall score for the semi-finals. I need your support! (:

I think I know the reason why I dont update everyday or, regularly. I don't like typing out short posts coz I won't feel satisfied at the end. The blog looks nicer when its wurr-dy anyway. It makes it look and feel bloggish. Thats why the intervals between my posts are really irregular and slow because I'll wait till I go through alot to write a long one.

Anyway, we had a family day out to the IT show fair last Thursday. We have never missed IT shows since the first time we went last four years ago. The deals are always unbelievably cheap, and the exclusivities are creepily rare. Even the latest Macbook Air sold out in just five hours. The limited edition lizard-skin VAIO notebook sold out in 6 hours. Notebooks were selling like churros in Mexico. The Sony Cybershot T300 also launched its world premiere there. Freebies have never been that good. There were surreal deals like when you sign up for an Internet plan under Singnet or Starhub or whatever, you'll get a Macbook or a 36" HDTV, or an XBOX 360. No wonder fairs like this barely have enough walking space. It's just too good to be true.

In the end, mum got me a red VAIO cause' poly's starting soon, and a Sony t70 camera for the upcoming holidays. We got another laptop on Sunday from the last day deals for the whole family use. You couldn't help it but to spend on whims and fancies like these once in a while coz' the promotions were totally off the hook. For those who missed this year's, there's always next year's fair and I'm definitely looking forward to it.

The Stardust 2008 auditions were held last Saturday. I took part in some singing auditions for some nationwide singing competition cos':

I was bored to death.
I quit my job this morning so, I'm gonna be bored-er now.
The cash money and prizes sounded promising enough.
I havent been doing something fruitful for ages.

Went to the audition venue at Somerset with Hisham and Rifdy. Saw Kamsani (teenageICON finalist), Jay Lim (Spore Idol finalist), Jasmine Tye (Spore Idol finalist) there which totally brought my confidence level down to my toes. I know Kamsani through the runway show the other time, and boy, he can sing his ass off. He's some competition but, all the best dude! There were two male judges in the audition room. One pretty much looked and behaved exactly like Simon, and the other was much more friendlier. Sang "Aint No Sunshine" which I screwed up in the beginning, but managed to recover shortly after. My nerves almost snapped, looking at how vicious Mr. Simon's (I haven't got his name yet) face was during the whole song. I even forgot my lyrics, and covered it with excessive adlibbings, runs and riffs at the end. Gah, I'm not even confident I'll make it through the auditions.

The results of the auditions will be out today at 6pm! I'll post again later whether I got through or not.

Well, I haven't been blogging regularly (Yes, Aisyah) even though i'm not schooling yet unlike the college kids who even had some time to actually log in to their blogger accounts. Prolly cause' I got lazy, and decided to re-setup my MySpace account everytime I go online or something. Even my MySpace profile is still half-bare. Sometimes I wonder what i have been doing on the computer all day, well besides checking out on the neverending updates in the music scene and definitely not porn (I think porn is boring). I must have been staring at the monitor screen thinking what to do three quarts of the day. I need to get one of those UV shield monitor film thing cause' at the rate i'm going, I'm gonna go blind like tomorrow. If only our body parts were made immortal.

I'm not gonna post about the Mas Selamat escapade coz' half of the world had already done that, neither am i gonna talk about how scientists recently found out about the overbearing temperature of Venus coz' Chewy's probably doing that too.

Anyway, last thurday was foursix's art students day out, and it was fun (somebody give me a synonym of that helpless word that fits contextually, please). Though it was only with Caline, Dayah, Jing Zhe, Chunny, Kendrick, it was boisterous enough to make a scene. Went to watch the sneak previews of The Leap Years at Cineleisure. I'd give it a 4 out of 5 because of some technical flaws and how abrupt the scene transits into one another. It was still nice, in fact, too nice it made the girls cry their faces off. Lucky Kendrick, who we always rely on supplying tissue when in need, was there to save the day. Jing Zhe almost cried, oh yeah he did. I wasn't in the mood to get in "the mood", cause' my mind was distracted by something stupid. Vernetta Lopez made me laugh through the whole show, and Nadya Hutagalung was looking super fine. That Jeremy guy looked like Tarzan on bed after the love-making scene, and Li-lin's acting skills were superb. Caline and Dayah's planning to watch it for another time. Girls.

Went out with my mum and dad to the NATAS travel fair yesterday. We never missed natas fairs every year, and this year it's being held at Singapore Expo till 2nd March. We were there for four hours, and after half of the time, we finally grabbed a couple of holiday packages for the June hols. Gold Coast and Sydney, baby!

Can't wait to get more clothes, a VAIO and that alluring Sony T200/T2 poly-wise,
Most importantly, I can't wait to start school!

To Twilight fans and readers:
Twilight Movie (2008) cast announced!

Twilight is a name of an excellent book, written by Stephenie Meyers, who also wrote its bestselling sequels, New Moon and Eclipse. I'll not give any sort of synopsis or anything like that, since it's easily accessible on the official website. Just give it a good read. I'd say its a really good book.

Honestly, i didnt expect most of the characters to look like them in the movie.
The first three photos below are the whole Cullens family.
The Cullens are a bunch of creepy vampires (cept' for one, or two) who are supposed to look pale and hot at the same time. The girls are supposed to be mighty graceful and attractive, and the guys are described to look like greek gods.
Seriously, Alice was supposed to look like some sizzling hot "supermodel who fits the cover of Sports Illustrated." No one in the cast looks anything near that. Dammit.
Just look at Robert Pattinson. Who would ever thought that the guy in the blue shirt is actually the dramatic Edward himself?
Carlisle and Emmett look exceptionally 'similar', at least to how I picture them to turn out like.

^Kristen Stewart is casted as Isabella Swan a.k.a. Bella! Sweet-uh. At least that made up for the other not-so-good looking casts. She's like a little downgraded version of Alessandra Ambrassio. Hot.

Why do Asians always have to be the geeks?

I guess that's it so far. They're currently having a casting call for Jacob Black, another important character of the book. Skali Daniel Radcliffe, ah kau.

WELL WELL WELL
Liberty never felt, and tasted so good.
confined like an undeserving jailbird for three-quarts of a month.
boy, even jailbirds have much more liberty during their stay i'd say.
hah, i wasn't serving jailtime, god forbids.
though its something quite similar really,
perhaps i was imprisoned, shall i say luxuriously.
commendable food delivered right on your ~~death~~bed, a button away for your needs, a personal washroom, and an awesome provision of meticulous care and concern.

Isolated within four agonising corners for 21 unpredictable days,
life was at its loneliest.
Diagnosed with an unexpected communicable illness, solitude took its toll.
To be honest, solitary is not my can of soda.
I did get visits from the same kind, but restrictions and conditions have to apply.
Half of their faces have to covered by N95s (surgical masks) to shield themselves from any sort of evil infection.
Visiting hours end at half past eight, and boredom start to sneak in once again.
Well, my everyday routine is pretty basic unsurprisingly: wake, eat, sleep.
the simple life, too simple it affected me both mentally, and physically.
imagine needles poking you at 6am in the morning once every three days,
how about a compulsory 11 pills (yes, el-ev-en) of different shapes and sizes to be consumed daily before breakfast,
and hear this, how's the idea of an oxygen mask, infused with some aqueous solution of sodium-whatever, being stuck to your face for two hours everyday.
it's.not.what.you.expect.to.do.everyday.

a saying so cliche even a kindergartener would have heard it somewhere:
No Pain, No Gain.
that what kept me going.
like what Ms Koh said in her encouraging text message,
"Always look forward to what's ahead".
That's what i did exactly. There are still miles ahead on this not-so-flat running track, and there are definitely a gazillion of things in stored for life.
I survived a well-learnt trial
& I'm glad its over.

I really had a blast, i mean it. A gargantuan blast, the time of our lives.
Had awesome time catching up with one another during dinner at Pizza Hut,
even if it took a mere two hours.
Couldn't get enough of it.
Deff. looking forward to the next one, and we're heading to Ubin!
Life has never been better.

it has beeen ages since i've logged into blogdom.
if anyone actually noticed my schedule, i only had a day to rest.
and this month's a bonus coz' school starts,
and that's when the fun begins.
being home alone is off the hook.

December was just like any other Decembers I've had in my whole seventeen years.
My birthday falls on the 20th, and I didnt really had as much fun as last year coz there werent any parties and such, simply because Hari Raya Haji also fell on the same date. So, all we did was to visit my relatives and all. It was still okay, coz' I knew they would actually arrange a great feast for us in events like this. And they did. The red bone thing where you suck and slurp off the marrow, rendang, lontong, McD, spring chicken, satay, roasted turkey, steak and I really can't remember the rest. We really had a feast, and there's no exaggeration in that. What more, we headed to the steakhouse to have supper afterthat. To sum up pretty everything what we did on my 17th, all we did is... eat.

Went to KL and Malacca for a short getaway to redeem ourselves apart from all the buzz in Singapore. You know, everytime you go to KL you go to the same places. yeah, and so we did the whole KL routine again - Masjid India in the day, and Petaling Street at night. Stayed at AnCasa hotel for a night, and another night at the lush Sunway Lagoon's hotel. We didn't go to the Waterpark there coz' I thought that it wasn't worth it. It costs 60 RM per person for an entry ticket into the water park, and there wasnt anything spectacular in there anyway. The next day, we headed to Malacca and stayed at A'famosa for two nights. It was pretty awesome having fireworks erupting every 9pm in front of your apartment's balcony. The waterpark there was way better, and the Animal Safari was exhilarating. Too bad I was ill and had to be medicated, so I didnt really had fun myself. The breakfast though, was an utter dissapointment coz theyhad an unreasonable limited food system. You're limited to have one main course, one drink, and one dessert, and thats it. I'd rather have a buffet like what every other hotel offers. The seafood at malacca was just heavenly. The cockles, stingray, crabs, lobsters and such are just out-of-the-world. Seriously. Oh btw, I saw Farah Nadia at Masjid India, KL with her family. Haha, hey.

We arrived Singapore on Tuesday and we're dead tired and things like that. Supposed to go to Wild Wild Wet with my mates on Wednesday but I couldn't coz' I was ill. So, I gave Dayah, Huda and Shafiq a dunch treat at Seoul Garden. Here's a tip: Don't ever take any servings of rice or noodles or whatever staple food you guys love. Dayah stuffed herself with a bowl of rice to eat with the barbequed chicken and she couldnt eat anymore afterthat, and it was a waste since its a buffet and there were a million of things you can eat.

After Wednesday, it was rehearsals all the way till Saturday. The runway show went well surprisingly coz the stage layout changed on the last minute. We thought the stage would be huge and stuff, but its tiny. That got some of us pissed. Afeeq was like "Should I call my friends not to come, malu sah. stage tiny like hell!". We had to do last minute rehearsals at the back of the hall with the new stage size and layout. But like I said, the show went fine and Ernie did well, way to go! Oh yeah, thanks dayah, huda, fiona, chewy and her mum, fara, mum and dad for coming! (:

Sunday (30th Dec), Hulabagi, Felicia, Benita and me performed at Youth Park, *scape. We performed individually, and things didnt turn out the way we expected. I was the first to sing, and there were practically no one there in the audience yet. The coincidence was I was singing a cover of Alicia Keys' "No One". Jinxed or not, it wasn't just me who faced faults. Hulabagi did a rendition of Belaian Jiwa (I think), and the power tripped during the song, so they had to sing without mics and music. And for my other three songs, I forgot some and, even all of the lyrics. Thanks Rifdy, Hisham, Syazwan, Suhailah, Syafiqah, and Aunt Mimi for coming! Right afterthat, Suhailah suggested to go to KBOX, so i followed syazwan, suhailah and syafiqah to have some karaoke fun. and hell yeah, it was a blast. We sang 70 songs I think. Thanks Syazwan for the awesome birthday present - a blazing topman tee-shirt. heh.

So that's how 2007 ended. It ended well, despite the faults and stuff. I pretty much enjoyed New Year's eve too. There's nothing like snuggling into your comforter, watching the countdown show on channel 5 with snacks and food around you on bed, and screaming your head off with your good ol' family on the first second of 2008. I really enjoyed my new year's eve. cant be bothered to go out till late at esplanade or anywhere else just to watch the fireworks fly, since you'll do the same thing on national day or during the singapore fireworks festival thingamajig.

So, its 2008.
I can foresee it being a good year and stuff. You know, 8 is an auspicious number to the Chinese, and now its the 8th of the millenium. Anyway, its the start of something new. Compulsory education ended last year, and tertiary education's about to start and damn, I can't wait. Ooh, the Grammys, new album releases, new controversies.. aaahh. Britney's gonna go all skinhead once again, trust me.

I already have my new year resolutions, and I'm gonna keep it to myself. But, I'm gonna live with it. I will. There are people who pretend to be all nice just to get what they want, but stab me at the back when I'm not lookin. Lure me, I won't budge now. There are people who I wanna thank for everything they've done and been through a rocking journey in 2007 with me: Dayah, Huda, Shafiq, Afeeq, Cassie, Syazwan, Chewy and Fiona. You rock my ass, socks, body, shoes and everything else. No one can ever compare to you. You guys are beyond awesome! (:

the past few days have been sucky.
thought i was back to perfect health a week ago, but i'm still ill as hell.
went to the hospital last two days to get a whole check-up.
two nerve-wrecking blood tests.
the first one was just a poke at the finger, y know, normal stuff.
well the second one was a whole bloody injection on the arm to suck out like a syringe of blood.
then i had to undergo some x-ray test on the chest and all.
Needles and me will never get along with each other, thus the sanity of me not doing crack.
hah, kidding.
say nada to drugs, eh kids.

i'm recovering slowly, at least I feel a little healthier by the day.
WHICH IS GREAT, coz my schedules are tightly packed with tons of stuff for the month.
20th's my bdaaaaaaaaaaaay and hari raya haji, 22nd's the Class beach party at Siloso!, 28th's the big show, 30th's the performance at youth park, and of course, 31st' the blooody new year!

Grammy nominations are out! (Dec 6th)

I've been doing this every year, staying up late especially somewhere around this date annually to watch the Grammy Nominations Announcing Ceremony held in the states. It wasn't shown on TV coz' you know, its just the announcing of some lame-ass nominees for the Grammys. Wait, they're no lame-ass nominees. It was aired on the net live btw, on the KTLA website. The Grammys is the world's most prestigious and highly-acclaimed musical event held every year to appreciate music of ALL genres and award musicians and artists for their undying passion and hardwork to promote music in the world. This is no VMAs or AMAs or MMAs or crap like that. Events like those are commercialised and theyre just celebratory award shows being held for the fun of it, or to act as fillers for their TV slotting systems.

ITS FINALLY DECEMBER!
Sorry for the lack of updates 'coz I havent really been in good shape lately. Been under the weather for 2 weeks straight, and I'm getting seriously sick of it.

Stranded on the bed for 6 hours everyday.
Minimal computer usage time.
Flaring tempers.
Silence.
Tasteless food.
Silence.

I'm back to perfect health and all ready to savage world peace.
Anyway, I think Supernatural is a little underrated. I mean, its the best american series ever. Come to think of it, it's definitely better than the most overrated TV series ever, Heroes.
I seriously dont get the hype with this Heroes thing. Promos are heavily done, advertisements are also on heavy rotation - and everything is for this cliche flick with a draggy ass storyline.
Two things I exceptionally like about this heroic attempt of a flop are the visual effects and Hiro Nakamura. It would be a little more interesting if its titled "Hiro".

If you have watched the first episode of the second season of Supernatural - "In My Time Of Dying" - undoubtedly, you'll get hooked to it in an instant. Complete with awesome visual effects, twisted plots, CSI-esque approaches, and world-class cinematography, its a hell of a show not to be missed.

Yesterday's episode was about a clown, and he or rather, it was no ordinary clown. This old guy's spirit is trapped in this mobile carnival coz' his skeleton was used in the ghost house (one of the attractions in the carnival). So this spirit goes around in a form of a clown, and charms young children at the carnival. Follows them home, and the extensively dumb kids will open the door for the damn clown when everyone's asleep, and then the damn clown will kill the kids' goddamn parents and then they die and the bloody clown will chew on the deceased's offsprings, in this case, the kids.

Next week's episode - "Bloodlust" ~~features some ugly sadako-like girl that looks like there's a sickle attached to the girl, or the girl is attached to the sickle, i dont know.~~ Sam and Dean encounter a vampire hunter whose obsession may get them all killed. CANT FREAKING WAIT.

Prom Night 2007

It was epic!!
Not as 'awesome' as last year though, they decided to cut down on expenses.
The DJ sucked, there weren't any smoke machines and dance lights. The food degraded a notch lower. The Prom King/Queen format was disorganised.
We had to sing the school song, not once, but TWICE, in an event like this.
There weren't any farewell segments during the dance or in any parts of the event.
They didnt play the videos we compiled for the event.
The decorations were bleh.

Tell me about it. Being Singaporean kicks ass.
Complaining/whining have always been our number one hobby.
Nonetheless, it's quite an honour for four six that both the majestic prom queen and king emerged from our class.
Particularly, I like the photo-taking booth/stage/set/whatever at the back, although the spotlights apparently went faulty and blacked out, and no reliable authority went up to inspect and gave it a well-deserved fix. ah well.

We did have fun anyway, the dance was still off-the-hook!
It was boring in the beginning since everyone hesitantly sat at the dinner table, and waited for someone to step into the dancefloor first.
Everyone got the hang of it, and it became violent and more violent since some people could not distinguish the true difference between moshing and uhh, dance.
SOME people just had to be gimps and twats, and use the opportunity to release their hopeless tension, senseless hatreds and screwed-up jealousy on other people, who really couldnt be bothered by crap like that.
CANDYMAN got the last spin (!!) and everyone just went craaazy.

Everyone had a blast.
I know every single person took like 60 million pictures after the night.

I didn't bring any cameras with me 'coz :

I could use my friends' since I had forseen they would take 60 million pics with theirs.
I dont own one, Sad.

O levels are ending soon,

coz simply, the O's are over (!!) and the next time we're gonna open our books is when we stepped into poly or jc.

well, this upcoming monday will be the submission of our boards and painting for O Lvls Art, and we're gonna receive our paper 2 questions subsequently.
and then, the mighty Os will come to life this november after which, we finally can bring down our heart rate a little bit lower, and start increasing our BMI. Bedtime will soon revert back to 10pm or maybe 9pm, and the PSI reading will increase to a whopping 143 again due to the number of people burning their lifeless textbooks and TYS-es. The Jin Twins will finally be able to have time to learn and practise a new telepathy skill, since they already know how to walk at the same rhythm, and beat with such precise accuracy.

...and the sky will be much blue-er and the grass will be much greener, trust me on that.

This was shown on HBO last night. It's the whole futuresex/loveshow tour in America they aired on national tv. There are more videos from the whole segment on Youtube, but I'm particularly enthralled at this Sexyback performance from the tour.

Wei Jie and Chewy's birthday party went alright, though there were quite a number of faults and stuff.
like the excessive purchase of otahs, lack of charcoal and firestarters, the faulty whipped cream, and the mudpool surrounding the pit.
the intended hook-up between ___ and ____ was cool, but maybe it just didnt turn out as expected.
nothing much happened. we didnt play poker in the end, but we had water fights, which was of course, fun.
the rest of the day was spent eating, which was the highlight of the whole event.
Anyway, happy birthday to the both of you.

THE.BEST.NIGHT.EVER.
How epic, legendary, fantastic, awesome, (insert vocabs associated with the word "legend" here)
i mean, cmon.. its indeed (quote): 'the best show on earth' and rated "Concert Of The Year" by The New Paper. How can it not ? With 600 moving lights, and a hydraulic-powered stage. Tons of props, 13 costume changes, and best of all, the legend's voice and body..
Ah cmon, you get the drift. It's a multi-million dollar production, everything was crazy!

In the morning, i went to accompany qiu hui to get her tix.
She actually got to buy two tickets (worth 200 dollars) for 80 dollars altogether.
That was a good steal, considering the fact that her seats were good as well.
Fiona tagged along coz she contributed half of it.

Met Syaz and Denise at the Indoor Stadium itself.
They bought the tour merchandise already coz they arrived earlier. The tourbooks, t-shirts, handphone straps, posters were selling like hotcakes. Posters were sold at 10 bucks each, t-shirts at 35 bucks each, yet they were sold out the moment we reached. I got the tourbook though, for 25 bucks. Should've brought more money.bummer.

So we had to split up coz we had different ticket prices and seat categories. Huda and I headed for the premium seats on the floor (4TH ROW FROM THE STAGE!! AARGH!). Syaz and Denise headed for the 150 dollars seating. and Fiona/Qiuhui got the balcony. They had awesome seats as well. Fiona/Qiuhui could actually see the backstage and all. Syaz and Denise had a great view of the whole stage structure.

The whole fanfare was awesome. The crowd was even louder than the crowd at the national stadium. LMAO, everyone in the arena were screaming their heads off even when the curtains werent raised yet.

It started with a big bang, and ended with a bigger bang.
As soon as the curtains were fully raised, they played this hot intro video of her changing and stuff, and afterthat, the screen raised to reveal herself on a piece of art- the legendary moving stairs! woohooo.

This is far beyond amazing! The circus stunts, the props, the fire-eater, the atmosphere, the voice, everything was top notch!

During this performance, Huda cried uncontrollably (oh wait, alot of people cried, lol) coz Christina was being all emotional, and we can see her eyes got teary as well.

Our lightsticks were confiscated during the show, coz her management didnt allow lightsticks to be brought into the stadium (we smuggled them in), so yeah.
During the show, the ones sitting at the back rushed to the front and stood there like freaks. I yelled at them asking them to go back to their seats, and some nonya giler was like "ooh fuck off!".. what an a-hole.

Christina threw her sweaty towel at the crowd, and i yelled "OH MY F*******#t! y!# !#", and everyone looked at me. roflmao.
The show ended with a great bang, followed by a burst of gold, white and black textured expensive confetti.lol. We even collected some and stuffed them into our bags. hahaha.. the show was definitely worth the 400 bucks. seriously. I got Monique's (one of the dancers) autograph, and i think she's cute. heh. There are actually more great pics of her wearing other different outfits and singing more songs, but since its 2:19am in the morning, i'd rather stop here.

I'm just amazed at Dubai and its rapid developing growth.
I mean, just look at these.

this is the palm island, which is said to be the 8th wonder of the world
and the largest man-made island in the world.
This is a haven only for the rich and famous,
The Beckhams recently bought a house there too.

They're in the process of reclaiming land to build another one
and this time they're gonna build a set of islands that resemble sthe map of the world.

They're also in the plans of building this ridiculously tall structure,
to accomodate offices and whatnots. Why the need?
they have to spend on oxygen tanks for those at the highest floors for sure.

They are still constructing the world's largest theme park there,
and by then, our integrated resort will look like escape theme park in comparison.

I didnt know doing community service could be this fun.
Pasir Risians were the most generous.
Tampinesians were okaaay, (they should work on how to reject requests though =___=)
so there were shafiq, nizam, hidayah, aica, huda and me, carrying empty white tins, with lids surrounded by stickers.

it was hella fun.
why wouldnt it, right?
cmon, with awesome people like them, bore was the last thing that could ever happen.
we went to aica's, nizam's, and huda's house to nick coins from their piggy banks.
we weren't even halfway through and our tins were almost half full.
it wasnt cheating alright. it was called 'self-voluntary'.

rrrright, went to white sands afterthat to get somemore.
dayah, aica and huda went to develop photos at whitesands.
so that left the three of us to collect more donations.
shafiq, nizam and me positioned ourselves at the mrt station entrance, bus interchange and in front of the bubble tea shop, respectively.
there was this impeccably dressed indian man who approached me and inserted a whopping five dollar note into the slot.
and there was this lady who looked like she got threatened i think.
was it me who was being too persuasive, or was her face just like that.
oh, kids love slotting coins as well.
in fact, theyre the ones who jumped for joy after donating.
kids of this generation are the potential samaritans.

whatsssssssup.
i know i havent been updating regularly,
maybe i just didnt have the mood to type anything really.
until now, coz i dont want this place to accumulate dust and whatnots.

so anyway, we went wakeboarding yesterday (again).
but this time round, i tried kneeboarding.
well, it actually needs more arm strength since you dont really have to use your legs to control.
so what happened was that my reaction and thinking time were kinda improportionate for the last turn, and i lost control of the cable and the heavy kneeboard flew right onto the side of my head. there were a couple of bruises on my arm, and fingers as well.

what's worse was that the next day (today), we had our MT 'O' levels. anyway, it was pretty alright, just that paper two was easier than paper one. we had "tahan" for bina ayat, which was sanely do-able.

aargh, there's art tomorrow, and we have to complete all 5 boards by tomorrow.
okay, that's not do-able at all.
sadly for us, its not the end of school,
its the start of another school week.
darn it.

yeah, they're actually names of can drinks that just got released today.

whatever is a carbonated drink, and anything is a non-carbonated drink.
and each can of whatever or anything, comes with different flavours, so you wont know what you're gonna have until you open it.

it's a fun idea, and its easier for people like me, i guess.
coz i 'll normally get held up in front of a drink stall, thinking which drink to buy.
but its pretty weird if you go to a store and ask for "anything" or "whatever"

"auntie, got anything?"
"uncle, got whatever?"

exam results were the pure shitness.
my bus trip to the mrt station this morning couldn't get any better, and i dont need to elaborate about it here. heh.
theres this song called "still in love" and the lyrics are like (fuyo).
i need a rub, coz my back hurts.

oh anyway, what's with "anything" and "whatever"?
what's with the ads around singapore with the slogan "You can get 'anything' on May 18th"?
and then, you have to visit http://anything.com.sg to wish for what you want. (and i did, out of boredom). this has to be gimmicky, coz if its real, i would have wished for a lamborghini, or a reasonable PSP, which i longed to have. I didnt exactly wished for any of those, i mean, who's sane enough to grant 3851857139181000 other wishes, when 3851857139181000 will be overambitious wishes for things like a private condo at tanglin, a personal jet or a yearly supply of haagen dazs.

Spiderman III was tight, alright!
Peter Parker sort of went all punk and gothic when he got into his black suit.
Mary Jane's still the damsel in distress, unsurprisingly.
Harry should have permanently be memory-less, but nevermind, he made it up in the end.
okay, i shall stop now or else, ill spoil your upcoming spiderman movie trip.

anyway anyway,
its such a coincidence that the ball-like flying thing harry throws to attack, looks like the ball-like flying thing in a quidditch game in harry potter (wudisitcalled?), and both characters are named Harry.

and, Peter Parker looked like Joel Madden, when he's in that black suit, with black emo hair.
Mary Jane looked funny in that musical scene, coz the operatic voice didnt really match the face. haha.

I like the fever scene in the jazz club although peter couldnt really work the dancefloor, the last scene at the top of the building in that black web-like structure, and how the sandman formed for the first time in that physics experiment site thing.

There were little scenes on love, romance and all those mushy shit. It was entirely on action, action and more action. The editing and effects were super-neat, but it has a very very predictable storyline.
The movie's quite long though, 2h 30 min, and this lady who sat next to me cried three times at the not-so-happy parts. yeah, there were some tear-jerking scenes that can really make you CRY (the bridge at the park scene, and the death of __ at the last part), and there were also some scenes that can really make you LAUGH (the scene at the press office when the manager needed to take his pills and the french constellation restaurant scene, LMAO!)

to summarise, its a kick-ass movie.
that's about it, really.

yeeaaaahh! exams are over, but school's not exactly out yet.
we still have quite a number of days left to the hols.

(and that will be in less than 17 days!)
ah crap, the exam results will be released next week as well.
oh well, geog paper 1 today was easier than i thought it'd be.

english was alright,
malay was alright,
art was bleargh, coz i didnt complete my painting { !!!
